Why Wreck a Floor?

We at BuildDirect had an idea to put our money where our mouth is when it comes to our Toklo laminate flooring.

Laminate flooring is internationally tested and given what’s called an AC rating.  This rating is given to a laminate flooring product only after it is been tested for abrasion, so consumers know where they can install it.  So, along with the AC rating, we decided to run a few tests of our own.   We’ve decided to try and wreck a floor in order to show how tough ours is.

We’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to cause some destruction, because we do.  And we’d like you to enjoy it almost as much as we do, so we’ve decided to film everything and post the footage here on this blog.  Some of our tests will be pretty standard.

But most won’t be.

So, we hope you’ll send in your comments, questions, your statements of outrage.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers!
