Choosing A Hardwood Flooring Species

Choice is good, right?  Of course; as long as you’ve got all of the information, or at least a starting point to start drawing some conclusion of your own.  And when you’re making an investment in the transformation of your interior,  it’s even more important.

So, BuildDirect Co-Founder Rob Banks and I shot a video about hardwood flooring species (he’s the talent, and I’m the camera guy).  Take a look:

Each species has its strengths, although in terms of look. you’re not tied to them.  One of the great things about hardwood flooring is that you can always choose a species for its hardness, and then choose a stain if you’d like a darker color.  But, hopefully this video will give you an idea of how to begin researching the flooring that is right for your project.

Cheers!

Rob.
